YANGON, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Some leaders of overseas Chinese in Myanmar said on Thursday that the 60th anniversary Chinese national day parade was unprecedentedly grand which demonstrates the strength of the motherland and shows confidence in anticipation of the future.

Hailing the grand parade as "very good", the leaders told Xinhua after an over-two-hour watch on the live telecast received through TV and internet that the parade was exciting and very good.
Zhang Wenqing, who is chairman of the Committee of Different Walks of Life for Celebrating National Day Anniversary and chairman of the Fuzhou Sansan Natives Association, said in an interview that the parade was far more advanced than a decade ago, he said, all the domestically-produced military equipment are updated. The mass parade is colorful which reflected the glory of the past 60 years of the motherland, the 5,000 years of civilization of the Chinese nationalities, and the wisdom of the Chinese people.
The parade adds to overseas Chinese delight which is inexpressible, he stressed.
Huang Yao Ting, who is vice-chairman of the Guangdong Chamber of Commerce, said after viewing the parade that the overseas Chinese people are moved and excited. The grand parade demonstrated the great achievements made in the past 60 years after China's founding, especially after its reform and opening of door to the outside world.
