Special Report: Hu attends UN, G20 Summits |
BEIJING, Sept. 21 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao left Beijing on Monday for a series of UN meetings in New York and the Group of 20 (G20) financial summit in Pittsburgh, the United States, from Sept. 21 to 25, according to Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Hu will attend the UN Climate Change Summit, the 64th annual general debate of the UN General Assembly and the nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament summit of UN Security Council.
Hu's entourage includes Vice Premier Wang Qishan; Ling Jihua, member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and director of General Office of CPC Central Committee; Wang Huning, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and director of Policy Research Office of the CPC Central Committee; State Councilor Dai Bingguo; Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi; Minister of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) Zhang Ping; Minister of Finance Xie Xuren; Minister of Commerce Chen Deming; central bank Governor Zhou Xiaochuan; Vice Minister of the NDRC Xie Zhenhua; Vice Foreign Minister He Yafei; Director of the President's Office Chen Shiju.
