DALIAN, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao started to deliver a speech at the opening ceremony of the 2009 Summer Davos forum, held in the northeastern China's port city Dalian on Thursday afternoon.

The three-day forum, also known as the Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2009, has attracted some 1,400 participants from 86 countries and regions, including business elites and senior officials, who are to discuss topics about the theme of "Relaunching Growth" amid the global economic downturn.
