SEOUL, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Russia's deputy nuclear envoy met with his South Korean counterpart Hwang Joon-kook on Tuesday, calling for measures to revive the six-party talks on denuclearizing the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
"It is very important ... to find solutions acceptable to all parties that will enable us to negotiate," Grigory Logvinov, deputy head of Moscow's delegation to the multinational forum, said.
Hwang echoed his Russian counterpart, saying "this is a time for the five countries to strengthen cooperation in formulating our common response to the current situation."
The Russian envoy, during his three-day visit to Seoul, is scheduled to meet Seoul officials as well as Sung Kim, who is in charge of Washington's day-to-day dealings with Pyongyang as an assistant to Stephen Bosworth.
The envoy will return home on Wednesday.
