The "Water Cube" version of the ballet "Swan Lake" has wrapped up its two-month run at the Olympic venue. The aquatic variation partnered the best ballet dancers and water ballet performers from Russia, with the best divers from China.
Since its debut at the end of June, "Swan Lake" has dazzled audiences, which totaled about one-hundred thousand, in the trendy Olympic venue. It's also a successful case of making use of an Olympic venue during this post-Olympic period. The idea came from imagining the Cube's pool as Swan Lake, and combining ballet with water ballet, and then spicing it up with some diving all in one show. The next stop on the show's national tour is Fujian province.
