Special hairstyle welcomes Chinese Valentine's Day

A hairstylist in Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province, created a special hairdo for a young man to improve his prospects in finding a sweetheart on the Chinese Valentine's Day on August 26, also the seventh day of the seventh month on the Chinese lunar calendar, the Qianjiang Evening News reports.

The hairstyle is a Mohawk dyed red and yellow with the clearly shaved word "love" on the right side of the young man's head.

Deng Minghui, 19, who comes from northeast China and has worked in Ningbo for two months, hopes that his new hairstyle can help him find a girlfriend on the Chinese Valentine's Day, also known as Qi Xi Festival.

More and more young Chinese lovers are interested in the Chinese Valentine's Day and are planning to celebrate the festival in various ways.
