SEOUL, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- South Korean Unification Minister Hyun In-taek is to meet with a visiting Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) delegation on Saturday, a high ranking official from the ministry said, according to Yonhap News Agency.

The meeting is scheduled for Saturday morning and the negotiation for the meeting is now underway, the official told Yonhap Friday.

However, nothing related to a meeting with President Lee Myung-bak was set yet, said the senior official at the Unification Ministry.

"Minister Hyun In-taek will meet with the North Korean delegation Saturday morning," he said, adding no specific schedule was fixed yet.

Hyun is expected to bring up the issue of holding an inter-Korean meeting as a follow-up measure of the agreement reached between the DPRK and South Korea's Hyundai earlier this week.

The minister is also known to re-urge the release of four fishermen hauled away by the DPRK authorities after straying into its territory on July 30.

The DPRK delegation, led by Kim Gi-nam, secretary of central committee of the DPRK Worker's Party, arrived in Seoul Friday afternoon to pay respect to late South Korean President Kim Dae-jung.

The delegation is scheduled to return to the DPRK on Saturday afternoon.
