Top leaders attend congress of returned overseas Chinese, their families

BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Senior Chinese leaders, including President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and other Standing Committee members of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Political Bureau, attended Tuesday the 8th national congress of returned overseas Chinese and their families.

The nine leaders also sent their congratulations to the congress opened in the morning at the Great Hall of the People.
