Taiwan exhibitors soar 70 at Shanghai Television Festival

BEIJING, June 11 -- The number of Taiwan movie and TV producers joining the International Film and TV Market at the 15th Shanghai TV Festival is up 70 percent from last year. Almost 150 companies and over 500 buyers worldwide plan to attend.

The Taiwan exhibitors' group has two sections, "Taiwan animation world" and the "Taiwan movies and TV hall".

Exhibitors said the TV market was undergoing structural changes amid the development of new media.

Exhibitors said cross-Straits cultural cooperation could help producers meet market challenges.
