Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is calling for a face-to-face debate with his US counterpart Barack Obama at the United Nations. Ahmadinejad made the comment in Tehran as he steps up his campaign for re-election in presidential vote next month. He says talks over Iran's nuclear issues should be held within the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iranian President, said, "If I am re-elected this time by the great Iranian nation, I will repeat my invitation to debate with Mr Obama at the United Nations to discuss problems and world management for peace and participation of all for security and stable peace."
