Bolt sets new 150m world record

Usain Bolt has done it again! The triple Olympic gold medalist broke the 150-meter world record for his hat-trick following new marks in the 100 and 200 meters at the Beijing Olympics.

The Jamaican took to the track at Manchester street after recovering from a car crash. The "lightning bolt" surged ahead from the start and left a big gap between him and his challengers. Bolt was going at full speed and covered the last 100 meters in an incredible 8.72 seconds.

He then stormed to the finish line in a new world record time of 14.35 seconds. The 22 year old said it could have been even faster had he not misjudged the length of the track.

Usain Bolt, 100, 150, 200-meter world record holder, said, "Yeah I was running definitely. I would say. But my agent told me that the finish of the race was at the clock and I was still running after the race was done actually. I think I went 15 metres more if you actually watch the race."
