An exhibition of books about Australian fauna has opened in Shanghai.

Among the most prominent creatures are the kangaroo, parrot, platypus and koala. The nearly three dozen titles are all latest bestsellers on the Australian market. Also, the show is displaying some 60 enlarged illustrations from the books, featuring lovely depictions of the Australian wildlife. The show was organized by the Shanghai Women's Federation and Australia's Consulate-General in Shanghai. It will travel to cities like Suzhou and Chengdu in the weeks to come.
